About Us

Soddy Daisy Speed Shop and Auto Repair, LLC arose from a prayer and a dream, and we opened our doors to the public in December 2019.  With the benefit of hindsight, we all know that opening a business right before COVID hit and the world changed was probably not the best timing.

That said, thanks to the persistence (stubbornness???) of our team, we persisted through our first year and were able to expand our location and footprint in the summer of 2021.  We’re proud of our facilities and are located in some of the most historic facilities, in the middle of Soddy Daisy, TN.  We are constantly updating our shops – working to strike the balance between old-school nostalgia and modern-day efficiency and comfort for our team and our customers.

Listen – everyone associated with the speed shop is a car person.  From the partners in the business to our technicians to our service writers that interact with our clients to even our interns – we all appreciate cars, and frankly love to play with and build cars in our spare time.  All of us are different – so we have some GM guys, some MOPAR and Ford guys, some diesel guys, some Euro guys, and even some JDM guys.  We love the diversity – but also know that things with 4 wheels and and engine are what bring us all together.

So we hope that our passion and expertise shows through – in our website, in our buildings, in our personal vehicles, and most importantly in our work and care for our customers.  We would love to be your partner in anything automotive – whether it’s routine maintenance for your grocery getter – or a big track car or classic car build.  Regardless of what it is, chances are high that we have a team member who’s been there, done that, and is passonate about the same things you are.

Finally, although we have been in business for a few years, we are constantly growing and evolving.  If we’ve had the pleasure of serving you, we’d greatly appreciate a review or referral.  If you have suggestions on things we can do differently or improve – we’d love to hear from you as well.  Our goal, in addition to serving our customers as effectively as we can, is to be a big part of the Soddy Daisy and motorsports communities.  So if you have suggestions on how we can continue to grow, can improve our service, or can improve in general – we’re all ears.
